The Diplomad makes an excellent case for voting for them:

“OK, some of you are in need of tough love. Vote for us, or next time you’re in a stinking Latin American/African/Asian/French jail about to become the love puppet of some crazed drug trafficker, don’t EVEN THINK OF CALLING US!!! Got that?”

I have been. Since the polls opened. I just like that they’re in the State Department, and thusly have a point of view not often aired. Expertise on an industry hovering somewhere in the public consciousness between James Bond and Madeleine Albright. shudder
