Ford Pulls Lustful Super Bowl Car Ad, popped up at FOXnews, after Peter sent me this:

Ford forced to pull ‘lustful’ clergy ad from Super Bowl

Ford has pulled an ad it was planning to run during the Super Bowl, which showed a clergyman being tempted by a Lincoln truck, after complaints from those who have been sexually abused.

People who had been sexually abused by the clergy objected to the spot because it featured a little girl, and a joke at the end where the priest was set to give a sermon on the topic of lust.

Forget the bloody sex-abuse victims. You think they’d have an ad with a Muslim cleric delivering a rant to his flock, straps on a suicide belt, and goes outside, only to to have a small veiled girl hand him a set of car keys, which he takes and goes and oggles the car, thereby abandoning his destructive path?

Gimme a break.
