Apple Trailers – Serenity

I’ve got a teensy bit of a head cold. The kind that makes you want to heat a knitting needle over a high burner for a few minutes then shove it up your sinuses just to stop the sneezing.

Jayne seems a bit more normal than usual, which is disappointing, but I know they rerecord lines for previews to make things seem more dramatic or to make the character look a little less insane for the uninitiated. So, hopefully he’ll continue to be his usual crazy-stupid self. And Kaylee isn’t in the trailer at all, so I guess the romance isn’t going very far in this particular installment. Wash looks his same old silly self. Inara stands around and looks lovely, but she seems to be on Mal’s arm an awful lot, Mal looks good as a movie star, Zoë shoots a bunch of stuff, the Sheperd is pretty much nonexistant, Simon looks good and River… Well guess who looks an awful lot like an assassin?

Oh yeah! And guess who joins the cast? One of my favourite actors! Very high on my list of living actors, Chiwetel Ejiofor!
