The one time I turned on his show he had this big long self-serving rant about how stupid these people are but that the judges won’t do it because they’re intelligent and there’s no way that anyone could be that wrong to disagree with Bill O’Reilly.
NEW YORK — Pictures of detainee abuse at Iraq’s Abu Ghraib prison must be released despite government claims that they could damage America’s image, a federal judge ruled Thursday.
U.S. District Judge Alvin K. Hellerstein said terrorists in Iraq and Afghanistan have proven they “do not need pretexts for their barbarism.”
No, that’s true. Neither do the Democrats. So, hell, why don’t we just have the American Military bend over and grab its ankles for them, the silly lil’ terrorists, since they’re going to be naughty anyway.
Gen. Richard B. Myers, the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff, had maintained in court papers that releasing the photographs would aid Al Qaeda recruitment, weaken the Afghan and Iraqi governments and incite riots against U.S. troops.
That’s what prompted O’Reilly’s certainty. Myers had testified. So obviously the judge would listen. You don’t casually disregard the chairman of the joint chiefs of staff, after all. Who would? After all, they’re all reasonable people.
