Menzies
Sir no jags
Under pressure to demonstrate his green credentials, Sir Menzies Campbell recently took the agonising decision to sell his beloved, gas-guzzling Jaguar.
But there was just one catch: no one was willing to pay the £5,000 price tag.
“I couldn’t sell it,” he told Nick Ferrari on London radio station LBC yesterday morning.
“A number of people came and looked at it, asked me how much it cost and how much petrol it used, and they smiled and went away.
“I’ve now given it to a motor museum in East Lothian,” he revealed. “On Sundays I’m going to go along and stroke it.”

LOL! “That’s because it smells to high Leyland” sed Trevor Chapman registered mechanic from Upper High Lower Crombie.
