Springtime In Paris
Ah, the birds are singing, the sun is shining, and the cars are glowing with the old familiar flame only temporarily extinguished by the cruel winter.
The Times – Renewed riots force extra police into Paris suburbs
POLICE sent reinforcements to the troubled suburbs of northern Paris yesterday after a night of rioting revived fear of a return to the violence that raged through France’s immigrant housing estates last year.
In another sign of continuing racial tension, the Government also ordered an inquiry into an anti-Semitic black group that staged an aggressive march through the Jewish quarter of the capital.
Interesting. They identify the Joos, but not the religion of the marchers. Ah well, perhaps it doesn’t signify.

Quality journalism: Through extensive background checking and use of carefully nutured sources, they have determined that “anti-semitic” and “black” are two key features of this hitherto unknown group. You have to give them credit. I’m guessing that the government enquiry, with far greater resources, will only be able to add one or two more adjectives themselves.

They must have been working their confidential security services off their feet for those details.
