We got two big boxes that slide under the new couch to put the DVDs into, getting them off my precious bookshelves finally (new readers: we moved in January; ongoing settlement process), so I’m reorganizing those lower shelves that things were crammed into to make room for the DVDs. Just opened a folder and found my three 5×8″ bumper stickers, coloured with stars and stripes like a flag (though not to scale) that says

Mom sent them to me. In the days after 9/11, Kinkos was letting people print bumper stickers like this for free. Somebody, my uncle maybe or our neighbor across the street, had a few hundred made and mom sent three of them to me. So I put them carefully in a folder, and here they are.
