Milton, My Milton
That’s Milton Friedman and Phil Donahue in 1979. The economist might need some introducing: he was a Nobel Laureate who was at the Hoover Institution until he died last year, the one on the left. The journalist I’m sure you’ll recognize as the one on the right, even these 28 years later (lord they’re monotonous aren’t they?)

That’s great. His son, David Friedman, is pretty smart, too.
You can see the idea bouncing around inside the journalist’s empty head like a blowfly trying to find a way out of a small room. It eventually succeeds, I’m sure.

Err, I dunno. Last I checked Donahue was enraptured with Nader. Assuming they’re the same Phil Donahues.
