Traitors, Eh?
Too many comments at Vanderleun’s so here’s what I was gonna say:
Political correctness was the cause of the Fort Hood Massacre, and we ought not forget that. The fact that someone could go through — at government expense — an undergraduate education with ROTC, then medical school at a US military institution, and remain a traitor to the United States is a significant warning. A very significant warning that the idea of Political Correctness has consequences we can’t afford. Corruption of the Legions is one danger the Republic cannot endure.
And then there’s that State Department guy and his wife, spying for Cuba.
Maybe one of these days people will realize that hating one’s country, whether for religious reasons or otherwise, is more than adding another colour thread to society’s rich tapestry but wicked, warped, and very, very dangerous.

I believe that your assessment is spot on. It seems that when it comes to allegiance, Islam will always trump any other form of allegiance. Fools who suggest that “stress” had anything at all to do with Major Hasan’s behavior are just wrong. He has simply been communicating with other like minded Muslims at some Wahabi mosque and Fort Hood is the manifestation of that. The political correctness emerging from a more general multicultural movement in our country does severely limit our options to combat it.
Do you think that President Obama is the first U. S, President to hate his country?

And yet they will not leave!

Multiculturalism (which says that everybody’s culture is equally valid) added to political correctness (which is how we enforce multiculturalism) is an explosive combination.
To paraphrase a line from “Dune”: PC is the mind-killer.
