I use Stellarium projected on a Promethian board to give kids a clue about where we are. Sometimes it works some times it doesn't. When it doesn't I blame sodium vapor lights and Bushitler.

I will tell you in all confidence, when it works it really works.... it's a SO THAT'S IT! moment.

Kids need to know stars and deh moon. Srsly. And Marz and HOLY SHIT IT REALLY DOES HAVE RINGS!
